The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine met with the King of Sweden

During his official visit to Sweden, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk met with the King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden.

The Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine expressed his gratitude to the Royal Family and the entire Swedish people for their solidarity with Ukraine in this most difficult time in the modern history of the Ukrainian state.

“I saw in His Majesty’s eyes a sincere concern for Ukraine and a wish for a speedy victory,” said the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk following the meeting.

“We talked about our historical past, present and future. We talked about Ukraine’s future in the EU and NATO. And this is our common future,” the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine concluded.
