On the sidelines of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko held a working meeting with the Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel.
First of all, the First Vice-Speaker expressed gratitude for the strong speech in support of Ukraine: “Ukraine is now fighting for common values and democracy.” He also stressed that Ukraine highly appreciates the position of Luxembourg.
Oleksandr Korniienko thanked for all the assistance provided by the Government of Luxembourg: “In the war against the insidious enemy, every weapon and military equipment is of great importance to us.”
In conclusion, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko invited the Luxembourg side to continue to actively support Ukraine in its reconstruction.
