In the framework of his working visit to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine joined the celebrations of the Vyshyvanka Day and met with representatives of the Ukrainian community.

“The support and activities of Ukrainians living outside their country are very important. They do not let us forget about the events and situation in Ukraine,” said the First Vice Speaker.

At the same time, he noted that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine continues to work on the diplomatic front and is doing everything possible to ensure that everyone returns home.

“These days we will be talking a lot about Ukraine, in particular, about our membership in NATO,” the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine concluded.

The delegation also includes members of the Ukrainian parliament – the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on National Security, Defence and Intelligence Yehor Chernev, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Economic Development Dmytro Kysylevskyi and member of the Committee on Anti-Corruption Policy Oleksii Zhmerenetskyi.
