During his working visit to the Republic of Lithuania, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko met with the Lithuanian MEP Andrius Kubilius.
The parties discussed the issues of Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic integration.
For his part, the First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine assured his colleague of the sustainability of Ukraine’s aspirations and the continuation of active work on joining the European Union and NATO.
“The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is ready for all the challenges of implementing legislation to bring the relevant standards closer,” Oleksandr Korniienko emphasized.
At the same time, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine expressed Ukraine’s expectations from the decisions of the Vilnius Summit, namely, a specific algorithm for joining the Alliance and security guarantees.
