European integration is the task of the entire government. This was emphasized by the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko during the presentation of the report on the results of surveys to assess the ability to fulfill the tasks of implementing EU law in the legislation of Ukraine.
The participants of the event discussed a number of issues, including the process of European integration, training of civil servants and capacity building of Ukraine.
“Each country has its own way, but the principles of good governance that we must rely on should be the same for all EU member states,” said Oleksandr Korniienko, emphasizing that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is actively working in this direction.
At the same time, the First Vice Speaker, as a member of the Coordination Council on Public Administration, welcomed the reform of the Higher School of Public Administration: “We have many proposals and expectations from our partners regarding our active participation in the integration of programs with European colleges and the exchange of experience.”
He added that it is necessary to conduct a dialogue on improving the system of incentives for employees and opening up opportunities for career growth.
“European integration is the choice of Ukrainians. And we are working to achieve this goal,” concluded Oleksandr Korniienko, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
