Today, our border guards celebrate their professional holiday and I congratulate each and every one who defend our country today!
You were the first to deter and repel the enemy on the Ukrainian border. You were the first to accept an unequal but courageous battle with the invader. And today we honour the memory of those who gave their lives for the sake of Ukraine.
We thank those who, despite daily threats, daily challenges and daily danger, stand guard over our borders. Those who destroy the enemy’s manpower and equipment, those who fight to restore Ukraine’s territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.
