The First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko held a working meeting with the Special Representative of Ukraine for the Middle East and Africa Maksym Subkh.
The parties discussed the achievements and results of the Ukrainian delegation’s participation in the 146th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
“Ukraine continues to move along the vector of strengthening cooperation in conditionally new directions, in particular, with the countries of the Global South,” said Oleksandr Korniienko, adding that it is important for Ukraine to gain new allies in the geopolitical dimension.
In conclusion, the First Vice Speaker noted that the diplomatic front is a separate battlefield, “so that Ukraine is heard, understood and helped, which is why active work here is of great importance.”
