Today, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted a number of important decisions, including:
Resolutions on the resignations of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine S. Shkarlet, the Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine P.Ryabikin, the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine M.Fedorov.
FOR THE BASIS:
8392 – provided for the establishment of the State Register of Sanctions for public access to up-to-date and reliable information on all entities subject to personal sanctions.
8187 – provided for the improvement of the procedures of managing defence resources, taking into account the experience of NATO and EU member states.
IN TOTAL:
7353 – provided for the payment of one-time financial assistance to journalists, doctors, power engineers, railway workers, civil servants, utilities, drivers and other critical infrastructure workers who were injured or killed as a result of the war.
8339 – allowed the appointment of servicemen without higher education to officer positions with the award of an officer’s rank if the person is a sergeant or a sergeant major, has six months of combat experience and has no outstanding disciplinary sanctions.
4409 – introduced rules to speed up bankruptcy proceedings, created conditions for a transparent, more efficient bankruptcy procedure for public sector enterprises.
7327 – created a state environmental monitoring system as a system for monitoring, collecting, processing, transmitting, storing and analysing information on the state of the environment and its impact
6464 – strengthened the protection of intellectual property rights by providing the right holder with mechanisms and ways to enforce intellectual property rights in court. Bringing the provisions of Ukrainian legal acts in line with the obligations undertaken by Ukraine to the EU to protect intellectual property rights.
