The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk took part in the ceremony of awarding scholarships of the President of Ukraine, the winners of which in 2022 were students of the Kyiv Minor Academy of Sciences and their scientific and pedagogical leaders.

Ruslan Stefanchuk congratulated the scholarship holders on receiving one of the highest awards for youth and young adults who use their knowledge and aspirations for the development of Ukraine.

“With your intelligence, energy and enthusiasm, you are proving that Ukraine has a wonderful, fantastic future. You, as the younger generation of the great Ukrainian nation, make us become better, listen to you, help you, and assist you, because you are the future of Ukraine,” the Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament emphasized in his speech to the laureates.

In particular, he noted that it is especially inspiring when talented young people, despite the full-scale war, despite studying under alarms and mostly online, stay in their country to contribute to the development of science and its social progress.

“It is worthy of respect that you stay here in Ukraine, remain Ukrainians, and once again confirm that we are a strong and powerful nation. I am convinced that with such young people we will definitely win!” the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine assured the audience.

Anna Purtova, the People’s Deputy of Ukraine, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Kyiv Academy of Sciences, joined the congratulations to the winners. She expressed her admiration for the achievements of the young researchers and congratulated them on receiving the honorary award, which was an important result of their scientific work.

“We are lucky to have you in Ukraine. I am sure that whatever industry you choose, it will be enriched with excellent specialists. But it is also important that you keep yourself in science, where you already have results and have achieved certain goals. I urge you to continue to develop the science of our Ukraine!” said Anna Purtova.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also presented the gratitude of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine to the scholarship holders’ scientific and pedagogical supervisors.
