Following the results of the XII Session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, the Seimas and the Senate of the Republic of Poland, the Speakers of the Parliaments of Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland signed the final Resolution.

The document declares that the Lublin Triangle is an important part of European and regional cooperation. It emphasizes the importance of multidimensional support provided to Ukraine by Lithuania and Poland. It is noted that close cooperation between the Lithuanian, Polish and Ukrainian parliaments and coordinated actions are critical in this difficult period for Ukraine and Europe.

The Resolution also reaffirmed Ukraine’s right to individual or collective self-defence in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter. It is stressed that victory in the war unleashed by russia is of vital importance for Ukraine and Europe as a whole.

The leaders of the three parliaments called on the world to maintain and strengthen the sanctions pressure on russia to further significantly undermine the ability of the aggressor state to wage war against Ukraine and to continue to provide political, economic, financial, humanitarian, military and other assistance as necessary to achieve victory over the aggressor.

They also emphasized the importance of developing and implementing a mechanism of compensation for all damages caused by russia to Ukraine.

The speakers reaffirmed the readiness of the three countries to continue cooperation to force russia to fully withdraw its troops from the territory of Ukraine and restore the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country within its internationally recognized borders.
