This was stated by Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk during the telethon “UA together”.
He noted that the Ukrainian government has a stable and clear position in international policy on the exclusion of russia as a terrorist state from all possible international organizations, especially such influential ones as the UN or the G20.
“We have already succeeded in many areas. We have received numerous decisions of international organizations, inter-parliamentary assemblies to exclude russia from their membership. This work needs to be strengthened because only when russia becomes a pariah state in the world, only then we can expect changes, including in the policy of the russian federation,” Ruslan Stefanchuk stressed.
He noted that it is powerful organizations that should become an example of expelling a terrorist state from their ranks, as it was already done with the G-7+1 format, when russia was excluded from the most influential countries of the world.
“I really hope that we will get such a decision in the G20 format. A terrorist state that carries out terror in other territories has no right to join any international organization, in particular the UN, the UN Security Council and the G20,” the Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament noted.
He also stressed that the recent massive missile attacks of the russian federation on the critical infrastructure of our country bring the terrorist state of russia closer to complete isolation. After all, no influential politician or country will want to be on the same bench with a killer and terrorist country. According to Ruslan Stefanchuk, this was confirmed by the recent First Parliamentary Summit of the Crimean Platform, which was supported by more than 55 parliamentary delegations from around the world.
“Today, almost none of the civilized countries says that we need to find something (for reconciliation - ed.) but say that the key to peace is in the victory of Ukraine.
Everyone emphasizes that such behaviour (of the russian federation - ed.) is unacceptable and it has become a turning point in their policy for many. Russia has finally exposed its face and there are fewer and fewer countries that believe in its good intentions,” the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed.
