Smart Ukraine is the future of our state! This was emphasized by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk during the presentation of diplomas and awards to the winners of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Prize for Young Scientists for 2020 and the winners of nominal scholarships of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for young scientists-doctors of sciences for 2021.
He emphasized the symbolism of the fact that the presentation takes place on World Science Day of Peace and Development, which is celebrated annually on November 10.
“The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has always paid great attention to the issue of science and a lot has already been done for this. Your way is important for Ukraine, it is worth fighting for it, it is worth giving the best years of your life. Everyone has their own front of struggle and yours is scientific. I am pleased that you do not stop, because young Ukrainian science today is what will build the future of our country tomorrow,” Ruslan Stefanchuk emphasized.
He noted that scientific activity is a hard work that causes deep respect and gratitude, especially today, during the war. And the awarding of the Parliament is a manifestation of the fact that scientists do not lose understanding of the value and importance of their achievements.
“The future of our country belongs to a smart country. Therefore, I really want to wish you not to lose this path, but to continue to pave it. I want you to know that your work is needed by the state and will always be appreciated in our country,” the Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament stressed.
