"Croatia will provide support to Ukraine in medical and psychological assistance to citizens affected by the war", the Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Olena Kondratiuk held a meeting with the Minister of Health of Croatia Vili Beros.

 "The russian occupiers destroyed and damaged almost a thousand medical facilities in Ukraine.  We need the support of the EU and such friendly countries as Croatia in ensuring access to modern medical services and rehabilitation of those most in need of such assistance," said Olena Kondratiuk, stressing that this primarily concerns injured and wounded Ukrainian children, as well as our military and veterans.
 "We are appealing to the Croatian side for help in building rehabilitation centers, providing medical equipment for the treatment and rehabilitation of the wounded.  We also need additional training of psychologists to work with those released from captivity and their families," stressed the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine.
