«An important meeting for Ukrainian parliamentary diplomacy took place with Bambang Soesatyo, Speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly - the highest legislative body of the Republic of Indonesia.» This was informed by the Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, who is participating in the G20 Heads of Parliament Summit, which is taking place today in Indonesia.

 Olena Kondratiuk said on behalf of the Verkhovna Rada, she thanked Indonesia for supporting the resolution of the UN General Assembly on the condemnation of russian aggression and the inadmissibility of encroachment on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. «We highly appreciate this position of Indonesia in the UN and the international arena.» Deputy Speaker added.

 «We also hope that Indonesia will condemn the russian war crimes committed against the Ukrainian people. I separately appealed to the Speaker of the Indonesian Parliament with a call to condemn russia's holding of pseudo-referendums and not to recognize their results, as well as attempts to annex Ukrainian territories". Olena Kondratiuk said during the meeting.
