It is how the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, commented on the signing of Ukraine's application to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in an accelerated manner.
"Our path is to NATO. Ukraine applies for accelerated accession to the Alliance.
Our army, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has long proven that it meets all standards. With proper international support, our army can be a shield for a united Europe.
All that is missing is integration into the defense and security space. Therefore, the corresponding application was signed together with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, and the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
We will win! There will be no other.
We have chosen our course! Godspeed!» The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed.
