"Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your Queen Elizabeth II. And I would like to say that if there is a country in the world that is not part of the Commonwealth but whose inhabitants respected and were so inspired by the life of your Queen, it is the Ukrainians. Just as you support us in difficult times, so the Ukrainian people stand by your people," said Oleksandr Korniienko at the beginning of the meeting with the delegation of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

"Since the first days of the russian federation's full-scale invasion, Great Britain has taken a leading stance in supporting Ukraine.» Emphasized Oleksandr Korniienko.

He added that today, during a meeting with the delegation of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, he thanked our great friends and partners for their invaluable help:

  • increasing the effect of the most severe sanction pressure on the russian federation;
  • bringing russia to justice for crimes against humanity, primarily within the framework of the International Criminal Court;
  • calling for allies to provide the necessary weapons to Ukraine;
  • financial support and humanitarian aid.

«I am glad that there is an understanding and willingness to support Ukraine in the future - until victory!" The first vice-speaker said at the end of the meeting.
