«The United Kingdom is our strategic partner, ally, and true friend at this historic time for Ukraine and the whole of Europe.» Emphasized the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine during a working meeting with the delegation of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

First of all, the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament expressed his condolences on the death of Queen Elizabeth II on behalf of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the entire Ukrainian people.
"Today, I had the opportunity to meet with the most steadfast "Ukrainians" in Great Britain, who are familiar with all the processes in Ukraine and sincerely support our country - with the delegation of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

 I am grateful to Great Britain and the entire British nation for the comprehensive assistance that Ukraine receives.

 First of all, we are grateful for weapons. This is our absolute priority today. The whole world admires the successes of our defenders, so it is important to continue military support for Ukraine.

 Our common priority is sanctions against Russia. The russian federation must feel that the sanctions are serious and long-term, and there will be no way around them", emphasized Mr. Stefanchuk.
