The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stufanchuk, said this during a meeting of the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, people's deputies with representatives of the National Academies of Sciences of Ukraine, rectors of leading universities and the Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language regarding the development of the Ukrainian language in today's conditions.
 Ruslan Stefanchuk expressed his conviction that now people are switching to Ukrainian en masse. And this is a conscious tendency, because even at the everyday level, Ukrainians distance themselves from the language of the aggressor.

 «What do you need today? Popularization.

 Creating a dictionary of the modern Ukrainian language, a legal glossary, a textbook that would enable foreigners to learn Ukrainian language, a center for translations into the Ukrainian language without paperwork, etc.» the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine emphasized.
 «All this was discussed today together with Oleksandr Kornienko, Olena Kondratiuk, Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language, scientists, representatives of academies of sciences, rectors of leading universities at a professional meeting.» Ruslan Stefanchuk said after meeting.
 He drew attention to this point that together, we have to work out those solutions that would become practical for the greater spread of our language.
 «This is the first meeting, but not the last one.» Ruslan Stefanchuk said.
