Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk joined to participate in the second summit of the Crimean Platform at the initiative of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
During the summit, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine emphasized that the temporarily occupied Crimea has become a bridgehead, a military base, and a logistics hub for the aggressor, from which russia is shelling Ukraine.
«Together with world leaders, our task is to work out solutions and practical steps to protect our citizens.» Ruslan Stefanchuk noted.
He reminded a year ago, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Indigenous Peoples of Ukraine". «Now it's time to adopt the laws: "On national communities of Ukraine" and "On the status of the Crimean Tatar people". The Parliament has always been and will be a strategic platform for the adoption of major legislative acts.» the Chairmen of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine said.
«Crimea will definitely return to Ukraine and the world! Ukraine and the world will definitely return to Crimea!» Ruslan Stefanchuk stressed.
