"For 170 days, the whole world has been watching how the Ukrainian people and the army heroically and victoriously defend their lands and European borders from the bloody embrace of the "russian world", – stressed the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk on the national telethon "UA Together".
He emphasized that the aggressor is now clearly losing on the battlefield because the powerful work of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in combination with the military aid of the West, is producing results and pushing the invaders further behind the entire front line:
"This forces the russians to resort to extremely low and hypocritical methods. Nuclear terrorism and intimidation are potential technologies demonstrating the purposeful and incurable degradation of the russian leadership."
"The whole world must understand the simple truth – nuclear war has no borders. You cannot hide behind alliances or unions here. The reaction of the international community to such blackmail should be immediate," noted Ruslan Stefanchuk.
According to the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine, it is necessary to expand further and strengthen the sanctions package, in particular, regarding the Rosatom corporation:
"We are waiting for a strong reaction and specific actions of the International Atomic Energy Agency."
In the end, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine noted that Ukraine's demands are straightforward:
????russian troops should immediately pack their things and leave the territory of the largest nuclear power plant in Europe - ZNNP [Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant]
????russia should declare that it accepts the IAEA mission without any conditions
????the demilitarization of the ZNPP and Energodar perimeter should be immediate and irreversible.
Today, no one would want the 1986 disaster to repeat, but with massive devastation for the whole world."
