The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, told the Interfax-Ukraine agency about the possibility of holding plenary sessions of the Parliament remotely.
According to him, the issue has not been removed from the agenda and the Parliament plans to return to its discussion over time.
"This issue is always relevant and, I think, we will definitely return to it. But now there are a large number of urgent issues caused by the martial law in the state, and they require priority consideration. But this issue has not been removed from the agenda and it will still be discussed in the meeting hall," said Ruslan Stefanchuk.
He also reminded that the Ukrainian Parliament continues to work even under the conditions of a full-scale russian invasion, but "it is necessary to have safeguards to ensure the operation of the only legislative body in the state."
