The European Commission has given the green light for Ukraine's European integration. In a diplomatic battle on a grand scale, this is a winning goal in favor of Ukraine and peace in Europe. This was emphasized by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk on his Facebook page.
"This is a great recognition of the efforts of Ukraine, its people, as well as the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his team. We have come a long way to the finish line before the EU summit. Our fate will be decided in a week in Brussels. And it depends on the decision of the EU Council whether the russian narrative that "Ukraine is not expected in the EU" will fall apart like a house of cards," – said Ruslan Stefanchuk.
According to him, Ukraine is moving in the direction of the European home with "cosmic" speed.
"The last meters are the most difficult. However, on the threshold of a historic decision, we are optimistic that Ukraine will be in the EU. I congratulate everyone on the eve of this important event for our children," Ruslan Stefanchuk congratulated Ukrainians.
