The return of all the territories that Ukraine had at the time of independence, the recognition of the russian federation as an aggressor by the International Criminal Court, and reparations for Ukraine for the destruction caused during the war against Ukraine are issues on the agenda of the world community today.

This was stated by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, in an interview with the Austrian television and radio company ORF.

The head of the Ukrainian parliament thanked the Western partners for their support with weapons.

"We demonstrate the high quality of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, it is essential for us to speed up the supply of weapons to Ukraine because every day of the war in Ukraine – 100 killed and 500 wounded Ukrainian soldiers, " –  said the Ukrainian politician.

"MLRS systems, armored vehicles and tanks, artillery and anti-ship systems are issues of critical importance for Ukraine.
Such is the issue of attracting specialists for demining the territory of Ukraine. If Ukraine gets quality weapons, the end of the war could come very soon. Our priority is to end the war and maintain the security of our country. "

Commenting on the main topics for discussion with the European political establishment during his long diplomatic trip, Ruslan Stefanchuk stressed the urgent need for Ukraine to become an EU candidate.

"The decision, which will be made on June 24, is an important political message for which everyone will be responsible. I want this decision to be made for Ukraine because the Ukrainian people deserve such a decision for their commitment to the EU values ??for which they lay down their lives," emphasized the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, warning: "Otherwise, putin will understand that he will continue to be able to destroy the world order with impunity and turn the world to his liking."

The speaker assured that Ukraine will follow the European integration path very quickly:

“We will go as fast as possible. We have been going to the EU since 2014. We are not newcomers to the EU. 91% of Ukrainians support the path to the EU."

At the same time, he reminded that "66% of Europeans want to see Ukraine in the EU."

At the same time, Ruslan Stefanchuk stressed that "despite the time limits of this path," every day Ukraine is getting closer to its goal of gaining EU candidate status."

"We have a lot to offer the EU. This is our intellect. This is our economy, agricultural market, and geographical location. We are able to ensure the security of Europe ", – stressed the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and assured: "We want to be a full partner in the European community."
