"It is important for Ukraine to get a legal starting point for its European integration path," emphasized the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, in an interview with the RTBF TV channel.

The Chairman of the Parliament stressed that the decision to be made on June 24 is not just a decision on Ukraine's candidacy. It is a political impulse to the world: "It is crucial who will receive this impulse - Ukrainians or putin and his army."

The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine expressed his gratitude to all European colleagues who support Ukraine.

"Political and practical support from Belgium is significant to us. In particular, the sanctions pressure on Russia, the military assistance we receive, and preliminary agreements on the reconstruction of Ukraine," said the Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament.

Ruslan Stefanchuk thanked Belgium for its active participation and leadership in freezing russian assets.

"Together, we must find a mechanism by which not Europe, not the United States, but russia will pay for this war with its assets – Ukraine seeks justice… It is important that the war does not just end in victory for Ukraine, but that russia receives a fair verdict in the criminal case in the International Court," said the politician.

Finally, Ruslan Stefanchuk noted that the whole world must understand that it is a matter not only for Ukraine, but also for the whole of Europe to make sure that victory is on the side of Ukraine and Europe as soon as possible.
