Ruslan Stefanchuk: Rashism is something that needs to be treated with a scalpel

That is how the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, in an interview with the Ukrainian Week identified Ukraine's way to rid the world of the russian tumor.

The world, according to Speaker, needs to understand the main thing: "a disease called 'rashism' should be treated surgically, not with homeopathy," and the sooner, the better.

"Treatment does not need to be delayed. Rashism is something that needs to be treated with a scalpel. The sooner we end it, the less it will cost the world, both in human and monetary terms. We are ready to become that surgeon, but we need the help, the aid that Ukraine desperately needs.”

Even though the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC) has not yet been ratified in Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada has already introduced the necessary mechanism for the work of the ICC by adopting the relevant law:

"To launch the International Criminal Court, we have adopted the relevant legislation. The court is already actively working. We are waiting for the conclusions of the ICC prosecutor Mr. Karim Khan, and as soon as they appear, we expect a quick and impartial investigation,” Ruslan Stefanchuk said.

Finally, he outlined the ideal formula for Ukraine's complete victory over the russian federation, which in his opinion, consists of three main components.

"The first is the return of Ukraine's territorial integrity as of August 24, 1991, since this territory has been recognized by all international organizations, including the United Nations. The second is to get a conviction from the leaders of the Russian Federation in international institutions according to all the rules and procedures so that no one has any doubts. The third is the complete reparation of all losses at the expense of the russian federation. These three things are fundamental for me," said the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and advised all who are not ready to accept Ukraine as a future winner to act on the principle: “one for all and all for one. " Otherwise, Europe will cease to exist.”
