In the current situation in Ukraine, it is difficult to say no to it in its bid to become an EU candidate, – stated the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Wopke Hoekstra during a meeting with the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk.
"We will do our best to to: increase Ukraine's military support; intensify sanctions pressure on russia; bring to full responsibility all russian servicemen who committed atrocities in Ukraine." Wolke Hoekstra stressed.
"We are with you in this struggle: the government, the people of the Netherlands and I personally – with you to the victory," - said Wopke Hoekstra.
The Speaker Stefanchuk stressed that the turning point in the war could come when Ukraine receives high-quality modern weapons.
Ukraine also needs help unblocking ports so that the world does not experience the reality of the food crisis.
The Netherlands will continue to support Ukraine in financial, military and humanitarian areas.
