Slovenia supports Ukraine's EU membership and will help in the fight against the russian occupiers, – Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine met with State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the Office of the Prime Minister of Slovenia Vojko Volk
"As a victim of aggression by the Yugoslav regime, we understand and support Ukraine well in the fight against the occupiers," said Mr. Volk.
State Secretary Volk also assured that Slovenia supports Ukraine's membership in the EU and is ready to share its own experience of European integration.
"We also discussed the need to strengthen sanctions against the aggressor country of russia by the EU and the international community," said Olena Kondratiuk.
In addition, Vojko Volk stressed that Slovenia would support the seventh package of sanctions and strongly demanded that the aggressor be punished for war crimes committed in Ukraine. He wished the Ukrainians victory and expressed his conviction that "Ukraine's future is cloudless than russia's future."
