"Slovenia is a small country, but it has a big heart and determination. Since the beginning of the large-scale Russian invasion, Ukraine has received significant political, humanitarian and military assistance from Slovenia," said the Deputy Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament.

"I will recommend to the Slovenian Government to support granting Ukraine the status of a candidate country for EU membership," assured Tanja Fajon on the issue of granting Ukraine the status of a candidate country for the EU membership.

"We strive to see the unshakable unity of the EU on the European perspective of Ukraine," added Olena Kondratiuk.
