Olena Kondratiuk appealed to the Czech Parliament to recognize russia as a sponsor of terrorism during a meeting with the First Deputy Speaker of the Senate of the Czech Parliament, Jiri Ruzicka

On behalf of the Ukrainian parliament, Olena Kondratiuk expressed gratitude for the consistent support and promotion of the toughest sanctions against the russian aggressor within the EU.

Deputy Speaker also welcomed the adoption by the Czech Senate on May 11, 2022, of the Resolution on Support for Ukraine, by which the Senate condemned russia for crimes against humanity committed on Ukrainian soil and recognized them as manifestations of the genocide of the people of Ukraine.  

"The Czechs and the Czech Republic understand well what russian or soviet intervention is. The unity of Ukrainians, the determination of your government, and the courage of your soldiers are impressive. It is also important for the support of all democratic nations," said Jiri Ruzicka.
