"We got the ball rolling”: Ruslan Stefanchuk on Ukraine receiving weapons from Germany

It is crucial that now Ukraine has a chance to receive the most modern weapons from Germany, – stated the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, during an interview with the Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung.

"Of course, Ukraine would like to receive more weapons from Germany. First of all, we need heavy weapons—for example, self-propelled howitzers, multiple rocket launchers or air defense systems, anti-ship equipment. But we are pleased that the whole world responds and helps.

Ruslan Stefanchuk emphasized on the importance of rapid implementation of decisions: “Fighting Russia with old technology is long and ineffective. We want to defend our territory as soon as possible. This requires the latest technology".
