"Lithuania has raised five million euros for Bayraktar for Ukraine in three days - such incredible news has recently hit the media," said Oleksandr Kornienko, First Deputy Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
During a meeting at the NATO PA Defense and Security Committee, the First Vice-Speaker of Parliament publicly thanked the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Lithuania, Arvidas Anushauskas. "This is not just news for us. This is proof that European society supports Ukraine, that people there are worried about the fate of Ukrainians and are ready to help us quickly and without doubt, as required by this brutal war, " said Oleksandr Kornienko.
The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament also thanked the delegation of the Republic of Turkey for the production of such a powerful drone as Bayraktar: "It is not just a great weapon. It is an opportunity quick and purposefully destroys the enemy in the struggle for the security of our country and the whole world."
