The russians have to understand that every diplomatic communication has a corridor. With each such Bucha, each such Irpen, each such Borodyanka, Hostomel, Stoyanka this corridor becomes more and more narrow. This was emphasized by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk in an interview to RBC-Ukraine.

“Nobody needs this war. This is clear to all. I call for stopping all the shelling, the attacks, and for starting to talk. But I emphasize that in these negotiations there shall be no discussion of the issues of Ukrainian independence, territorial integrity, or Ukrainian sovereignty,” underlined Ruslan Stefanchuk.

According to him, these issues cannot be the subject of any agreements.

“Those are the red lines that no one in our government will cross; those things are sacred,” stressed the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
