Ruslan Stefanchuk: Members of the European Parliament support accelerating Ukraine's accession to the EU

"I appreciate the support of the European Parliament in Ukraine's European integration aspirations," said Ruslan Stefanchuk, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, after meeting with MEPs Guy Verhofstadt of Belgium, Luis Garicano of Spain, Petras Austrevicius of Lithuania and Ramona Strugariu of Romania.

The Speaker also noted that MEPs support accelerating Ukraine's accession to the European Union, strengthening sanctions against Russia and bringing those responsible for war crimes to justice.

"We are on the same wavelenght. And this wave is so powerful that it can knock down an uninvited guest who committed genocide of the Ukrainian people," the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine emphasised.
