Today, on March 30, during the working visit to the Czech Republic, the First Vice Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Oleksandr Kornienko met with the President of the Senate of the Czech Republic Milos Vystrcil.

Oleksandr Kornienko highly praised the assistance to Ukrainian refugees and thanked the Czech government and the two chambers of Parliament, municipalities and regions involved in helping Ukraine.

 "Ukraine appreciates the support of the Czech Republic and considers it one of the leaders in this field," Alexander Kornienko said.

The talks were also attended by Pavel Fischer, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations of the Czech Republic, who summed up the ongoing support from the Senate and individual senators, some of whom are also mayors or council members. Thus, they are involved in the support to the refugees in the region's of their responsibility.
