Ruslan Stefanchuk Calls to Block All Visa and Mastercard Cards Issued by Russian Banks

The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk addressed the leaders of companies Visa and Mastercard with a request to block all payments made with Visa and Mastercard cards both on the territory of the Russian Federation as well as abroad for all credit and debit cards issued in Russia and by Russian banks abroad, without exception. “Actually, by continuing to allow and process transactions in Russia, you are supporting the financing of the war crimes of the Russian Federation, which currently brutally kills Ukrainians and, in fact, commits genocide of our nation,” noted Ruslan Stefanchuk. The Speaker of the Parliament is convinced that this step will be decisive to the victory of the democratic world over the bloody and senseless authoritarian regime which we all currently witness.
