Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk met with Deputy of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Zygimantas Pavilionis.
The parliamentarians discussed the security situation related to the concentration of Russian troops on the Ukrainian border and Lithuania's experience in the context of European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
"I would like to thank you traditionally for the clear and consistent support provided to Ukraine by the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania on European and Euro-Atlantic integration, restoration of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders," said Ruslan Stefanchuk.
The Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine expressed interest in further deepening the dialogue between the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Seimas of Lithuania.
