Ruslan Stefanchuk signed the anti-tobacco law

The Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine signed the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on Public Health Protection from the Harmful Effects of Tobacco".

“We want to see a healthy nation. And victory for us! I have just signed the law on the protection of public health from the harmful effects of tobacco. I am sure that each of us will feel the positive changes that will come to the country with this law,” said Ruslan Stefanchuk.

The Speaker of the Parliament reminded that electronic smoking devices have not been recognized as tobacco products in Ukraine for a long time. Tobacco corporations have used this to advertise electronic smoking devices everywhere.

“The era of flavored cigarettes, advertising, sales promotion, sponsorship and smoking in public places of heating devices has come to an end,” the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed.
