Expanding the capacity of parliamentary diplomacy to implement Ukraine's main foreign policy priorities remains our main task. This was stated by Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk at the Conference of Ambassadors of Ukraine “Diplomacy 30. Strategy of the Strong State”.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine noted the strengthening of the inter-parliamentary dialogue with Ukraine's strategic partners. In his opinion, it is necessary to expand parliamentary cooperation with a number of countries, “to open Ukraine as a native state and a country of opportunities.”
“Among the priorities for 2022 I would like to mention such as the regular meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Interparliamentary Council (in January, 2022 in Brussels), the spring session of the NATO PA (in May, 2022 in Kyiv) and others,” said Ruslan Stefanchuk.
The Speaker of the Parliament said, “The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is considering the issue of holding parliamentary hearings on topical issues of Ukraine's foreign policy during the next session.”
