Lithuania is a reliable ally and strategic partner that consistently supports Ukraine in pursuing the course of restoring Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. This was stated by Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk during the meeting with the delegation of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania within the walls of the Ukrainian Parliament.
"Together with Lithuania, we are working side by side to make our region - a region of stability and security. I am sure that together with Lithuania we can do more. I am also grateful to the Lithuanians for their support and faith that one day the Ukrainian flag will be next to other flags of the EU and NATO," said Ruslan Stefanchuk.
The Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine also noted the effective assistance provided by the Lithuanian side in restoring the infrastructure of the regions most affected by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
"I am deeply convinced that by joint efforts we will be able to build the best future for our friendly peoples and the whole of Europe," said the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine.
