The text of the amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine regarding decentralization will be published and submitted for public discussion this week. This was stated during the Conciliation Council of the Parliamentary Factions and Groups by First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Oleksandr Kornienko.
"This week we expect the publication and discussion of amendments to the Constitution in terms of decentralization. This is not the introduction of the bill for consideration, but a preliminary discussion of the text on the basis of the Verkhovna Rada. Such discussions lasted for almost two years on the basis of public organizations, associations of local self-government, now we move on to discussions in the Parliament," said the First Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada.
