Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk signed the Law of Ukraine “On Mediation”

“Congratulations to all those who have worked for many years to establish a mediation institute in Ukraine! I have just signed the Law of Ukraine "On Mediation". This is an extremely important document that will allow resolving disputes without going to court,” Ruslan Stefanchuk stressed.

According to him, the law introduces and regulates the status of a mediator - an independent and impartial person, through whom the parties can resolve a conflict or dispute through negotiations.

“Everyone wins! After all, the degree of conflict in society will fall. The workload on the courts will be reduced, the costs of business and the state for litigation will be reduced, and the duration of disputes and conflicts will be reduced too. Less conflicts - more compromises,” said the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine.
