On the occasion of the Day of Dignity and Freedom, Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk honored the memory of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. The Speaker of the Parliament laid flowers at the foot of the memorial cross.
"I bow my head in homage to the bright memory of the Heroes of the Revolution of Dignity. They are all alive in eternity, in our memory and in our hearts. They came to the Maidan at the call of the heart - to protect Freedom and Dignity, all of us. Now we have to make their dream come true, for which they gave their lives," Ruslan Stefanchuk said.
The Speaker added that although our chosen path is difficult and thorny, he believes that we will be able to achieve the desired victory.

First Deputy Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Kornienko, Chief of Staff of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Vyacheslav Shtuchny and Geads of the Committees of the Verkhovna Rada also took part in the ceremony honoring the memory of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred.
