On the Day of Television, Radio Broadcasting and Communications, Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Olena Kondratiuk presented the Parliament’s awards to employees of television and radio.

Olena Kondratiuk stressed that the great and important value for the Verkhovna Rada as an institution is freedom of thought, freedom of speech and information. “We strive to adhere to these values in our activities and are interested in partnering with the media to build public confidence to the Parliament,” said the Vice Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine.

“The Verkhovna Rada is open for the media and we want more people to know about what is happening in the Parliament. That our citizens receive the balanced, analytical information on the decisions which are accepted here,” the Vice Speaker of the Parliament noted and wished the employees of television, radio and communications to quickly and safely overcome all modern challenges.
