Ruslan Stefanchuk, “We are expanding opportunities for lending to farmers”

Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk signed the Law of Ukraine “On the Fund for Partial Guarantee of Loans in Agriculture”.

“From now on, it will be easier for small farmers to get a bank loan. The state will help farmers who own land up to 500 hectares,” said Ruslan Stefanchuk.

According to him, previously small and medium-sized farms were almost not financed by the banking sector - due to lack of credit history, liquid collateral and more.

“Now they will be able to compete with big players, receiving loans for modernization and development of production,” said the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine.
