According to her, we are witnessing a new stage and form of hybrid aggression against our allies: Poland, Lithuania and Latvia – the so-called migration crisis.
“We see a serious escalation of the confrontation on the Polish-Belarusian border. As co-chair of the Ukraine-Poland Parliamentary Assembly, I appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to urgently provide all possible assistance to our Polish allies to counter this artificial crisis,” Olena Kondratiuk said.
At the same time, according to her, the most important issue that worries Ukrainian society and citizens is the readiness of the Ukrainian border for a similar crisis.
“We need to hear what the real situation is there, and what steps are being taken to strengthen more than 1,000 km of our common border with Belarus,” Olena Kondratiuk said.
