Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Olena Kondratiuk called for the return to usual format of operation of all schools in Ukraine, where 100% of employees were vaccinated against COVID-19.

She stressed this during the Conciliation Council of the Parliamentary Factions and Groups. The Vice Speaker drew attention to the complaints and appeals of principals of many schools that they comply with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, according to which 100% of the staff must be vaccinated to work without restrictions, even in the "red" quarantine zone.

The Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada stressed that it is the responsibility of local authorities to organize the work in their communities so that fully vaccinated schools work as usual, children return to school, and their parents can go to work.

“I ask the Minister of Education and Science and the relevant Committee of the Verkhovna Rada to pay special attention to this issue. It is necessary to monitor and react to such examples of anti-vaccination policy, because it is unacceptable,” Olena Kondratiuk stressed.
