Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov together with Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Science and Innovation Serhiy Babak visited the Irpin Specialized Secondary School of I-III Degrees No. 1 of Artistic Profile Named after A. S. Makarenko of Kyiv Region.The Speaker of the Parliament congratulated schoolchildren, their parents and teachers on the Day of Knowledge.
“I congratulate everyone on the holiday. The school has always been the basis that together with the family created individuals. I really want the children in this school to gain knowledge and become the future that Ukraine is waiting for,” he said.
Dmytro Razumkov thanked teachers for their daily work. “You create the new future of our state,” he said.
According to the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada, the authorities must work to keep children in Ukraine. “I want children to go to our schools, develop and be happy. After all, our children are our future,” Dmytro Razumkov stressed.
During the visit to the Irpin Specialized Secondary School of I-III Degrees No.1, the Speaker of Parliament was acquainted with the new educational building of the school.
“I am sure this will make the education of schoolchildren and the work of teachers comfortable. And we, for our part – the central and local authorities – must do everything in our power to make the schools more modern and the education – high quality,” said Dmytro Razumkov.
In turn, Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Science and Innovation Serhiy Babak noted that the new school building is a quality educational space. “We are finally starting the 1st of September off-line and this school will be filled with joyful laughter from children who want to gain new knowledge. I hope this year will be successful for everyone,” he said.
The event was also attended by Head of the Committee on State Building, Local Governance, Regional and Urban Development Klochko Andrii, People's Deputy Oleksandr Horobets, and Irpin Mayor Oleksandr Markushin.
