Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov got acquainted with the current security and operational situation in the area of the Joint Forces Operation.
According to the Speaker of the Parliament, the recent shelling of Avdiivka is a serious violation of the agreements reached by all parties to the process of peaceful settlement of the situation in Eastern Ukraine.

“We lost equipment - we lost something permanently, something for a while and we will repair it. But the most important - is people and their health. In fact, the hits were almost a kilometer from the school, which, I hope, will soon function and help the little people of Donetsk to develop, study and work for the benefit of our state," said Dmytro Razumkov.
The Speaker of the Parliament stressed that Ukraine continues to fulfill its commitments and adheres to the agreements reached in Minsk on the cessation of shelling and hostilities. However, the Ukrainian side will protect its citizens.
"We will certainly not remain silent and will protect our servicepersons and citizens who are forced to live in such conditions today. "Everything that will depend on us, on the army, on the military-civil administration, I am sure we will do," he said.

During the visit, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada also got acquainted with the procedure for performing combat tasks by the personnel of the 9th mechanized company (Mariinka) and 2 mechanized companies (Krasnohoriivka) of the 28th separate mechanized brigade.
