The Ukrainian Parliament will use all possible mechanisms to counter the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline. This was stated by Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov.
"What will depend on the Parliament to protect national interests and national security - I and all the MPs will join this process if necessary," he said.
According to Dmytro Razumkov, the Verkhovna Rada is in constant negotiations at the interparliamentary level with US congressmen and colleagues from the European Union to counter 'Nord Stream-2.'
“During the 'Crimea Platform', we had such discussions with parliamentarians from other countries and representatives of international organizations. Because this is a matter of national security not only for Ukraine, but for Europe as well," the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada emphasized.
