On the occasion of the State Flag Day, a ceremony of raising the State Flag of Ukraine took place on Constitution Square in front of the Verkhovna Rada.
The celebrations were attended by Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov, First Deputy Chairperson Ruslan Stefanchuk, Deputy Chairperson Olena Kondratiuk and the MPs.
Dmytro Razumkov noted that for Ukrainians the blue-yellow flag is not just a flag of the country, it is a flag of victory. "I want it to come as soon as possible. To do this, we must all work together and make efforts to raise the Ukrainian flag again over Donetsk, Luhansk and Crimea," the Speaker stressed.
